Practise the skills from your Computer Skills course. Start with the games, then move on to the pretend computer, where you do the real steps. Every activity has 5 levels. Earn up to 3 stars on each level. You can stop at any level: every star counts towards your star score.
How hard should it be?
Stage 1 · Games
Practise the mouse, the keyboard and the computer words. Fun and quick.
Stage 2 · Real PC jobs
A pretend computer on the screen. You do the same steps you will do on a real computer. Nothing can go wrong.
For tutors. These activities are practice. They are not assessment evidence. They match the module (Computer Skills M2T11): turn a computer on and off safely, use the mouse and the frequently used keys, open a package, enter and change text, save, print and exit safely, know common symbols and messages, benefits of ICT, and health and safety. The difficulty switch (also in Settings) changes size, speed, number of things, decoys, sorting shelves and how much help is shown, in every activity. Stars are kept on each computer.
